** spoiler alert ** This books contains an anthology of 3 books in the first series by american author, Christopher Pike. For those of you who wanting to read a story that resembles Twilight Saga series, you can just forget it. This books feels more like reading Buffy The Vampire Slayer novels, full action since the first chapter. The main character is female age 17 (by the time she was transform into a vampire) who lived for 5000 years. One of the main interesting part in the books is when Sita, the main character seldom reminiscence her old life back in India where she often met with Lord Khrisna and his follower like the Pandavas (Arjuna is most interesting, he was describes as a master marksman with his bow and arrows:D) But there's also a bit downside of this series, in the first 3 books I've read the main character is in the end always makes another human being into vampire, despite her promise to Khrisna that she wouldn't make another vampire so she could gain Khrisna blessings. But in the event that a long time nemesis suddenly appears again, Sita actions will lead her to break her promise. Another uninteresting part would be the way Sita befriended a male high schooler that who gets AIDS (which she use her blood to cure it)and then become her confidant, where she often seeks for advices if she comes to troubles. Sometimes his advices are unbeliavable and not realistic, which thank god never gets implanted:D
