Mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed the changing points of view and the dual symbolism of the Congo and Orleanna becoming occupied and controlled. Loved reading from Adah's perspective especially. A little troubled about how religion and faith are presented - not really sure what the author's message is there. But I definitely wanted to finish. And there are a few passages that I thought were brilliant.
