** spoiler alert ** This was a really touching story. It's about a girl, Heidi who has a mentally disabled mother named Sophia. Sophia can't pronounce her own name and so she calls herself soof Heidi's mom thinks that her name is So B. It and so now, Heidi's name is Heidi It. Heidi lives with her mom and her neighbor(I forgot the neighbor's name.) Heidi always wanted to know when her birthday was, what her mama's name was, and all sorts of questions. So one day, she called up Thurman Hill who knew about Mama's past. He wouldn't reply so Heidi goes to Liberty to meet Mr.Hill in person. When She met him, he said that he is not giving Sophia anymore money and all sorts of things when he doesn't know what Heidi wants. When he told her to leave, she left but then gets taken in with a family, Ruby and her husband. The next day, she went again to meet Thurman and I forgot to say that the first time Heidi went to meet Thurman, she also met Elliot(Thurman's son.) The second time she met Thurman was different from the first. She got her question answered and she also found out something that changed her life almost forever. Read the book to find out what questions get answered and what changed her life almost forever!
So B. It made me cry at the end. It was too sad. Anyone who likes realistic fiction might like this book a lot.

Victoria I loved that book, it was like the story was a puzzle, and the more you read it, the more the puzzle pieces come together.
