It as too dull at first, too slow. Then I got into it and loved it obsessive|y. Then I didn't like the person the main character was becoming. Eventually, I found compassion and it made it so much more realistic and poignant that she does have flaws.

I Capture the Castle is narrated by a poor English girl it through a series of notebooks she uses for practicing shorthand and recording the events of her life.

It's amazing and I definitley recommend it. :)
