I enjoyed the second book in the series but it reminded me of Laurell K. Hamilton's Meredith Gentry series. I think it's because this book delves more deeply into the politics of the Fae than the first book did.

It's still a fun read. I really liked the innocence lost, then regained through redemptive acts.

I would definitely recommend this one for a summer or beach reading.
