Chrissie Sounds great. Isn't this non-fiction, but written with the style of a thriller?

Laura exactly!! It wasn't an easy reading but it's a good book in any case. I still have this book if you are interested.

Chrissie They have this book as a paperback at BookDepository. The cost of your sending it or my purchasing it directly are the same, so although your offer is kind, it is silly for you to send it! You know it is now Caravaggio's 400 year aniversay. Personally I prefer the impressionistic artists. I think they added more imagination, but at that time in the 1600s, people were so astounded to see reality. We take cameras and pictures for granted. For me copying isn't what I appreciate most. The book sounds worth reading even it is a bit difficult, as you put it! I think it is stuffed with facts, right?

Laura it will a pleasure to send this book to you. If so, please send a private message with you home address...
