If you've eaten at my house semi-regularly, you've eaten something at least derived from this book.
For one, I'm always impressed by the variety of flavors and styles represented, especially considering that the ingredients involved are simple and easy to acquire.
Also, ample instruction is included on the fabrication of "ethnic" sauces from scratch, eliminating the need to seek out costly (and potentially additive-laden) store-bought versions.
The best fifty cents I ever spent on a houseware!
