So I decided to start reading all of Stephen Kings books from the beginning starting by when they were published. Carrie was a great start. To me this novel reads from start to end like a movie more then a novel. I enjoyed the reports that came throughout the novel giving it more of a historical document feel. All in all though I feel that there are parts that could be expounded upon and not just brushed aside. Example: It seemed such a big deal with Christine's father barging in telling the principal that he was going to take him to court and then all of a sudden we only read that he gave up on the idea. I would have enjoyed to see the interaction between Christine and her dad during that. I loved the religious aspect of the novel and was very believable about a fanatic that Carrie's mother was. I look forward to starting Salem's Lot next.
