The Next Decade: What the World Will Look Like
by George Friedman
by George Friedman
I really enjoy Friedman's approach/analysis for the same reason I took so many economics classes in college: I think he does an excellent job at explaining how and why the world really works in a dispassionate, objective, and (I think) accurate way. If you're wondering if you'll like this book and its focus on big ideas/macro trends, stop by a local bookstore and read the Introduction - you'll be hooked if it's your thing. I'd have given it five stars with a bit more content; 4.5 stars as is.
