In this book, a serial killer (David Palmer) that Eve helped put away 3 years ago has managed to get loose and is killing people attached to the case. The first murder is the judge who put him away, and at the scene of the crime, Palmer left a list of 6 people he's going to come after, ending with Dr. Mira and Eve Dallas....
After Palmer kills 2 or 3 people, Mira gets taken, and Eve has to HURRY HURRY HURRY to figure out where he is so she can save her. Suffice it to say, Mira makes it and continues to be a secondary character in the books. It was a pretty good. Intense at the end, for sure!
