Fascinating look at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. This book does not just focus on the fire, but on the waves of immigrants who arrived in the prior years, the details of earlier and the formation of unions and goes on to look at what happened after the fire. It gives an incredibly complete picture in a very readable format.

Recommended for 6th grade and up.
