it was amazing
bookshelves: novels, social-issues
Read in February, 2011

The depiction of Alice Howard's early-onset Alzheimer's is very realistic and Alice herself very memorable. I love the first-person viewpoint and can't really see Alice's story being told from any other viewpoint. The novel is beautifully crafted and the storyline very powerful. Highly Recommended!
