Read in February, 2011

Very well researched historical fiction about Andrew Jackson's wife. Well written, providing a feel for life in the time period and the personalities involved. Enjoyable. Includes real duels, horse races, New Orleans parties, and plantation life. An old favorite passed to me by a friend.
