Two lives become intertwined in this novel of suspense--one, a young arab woman who is horrified by the prospect of her arranged marriage. The other is a super-genius college student bored with life who suddenly recieves an amazing gift--the ability to see glimpes of the future. When fate (or someone else) brings them together, it is up to his genius and his ability to keep them out of danger, for Miriam (the arab girl) is a princess and her marriage is what is needed to put a coup into motion--and her death is what could stop it.[return]The suspense is great, Dekker does get a bit heavy with the philosophical stuff about multiple futures, but still creates a solid pageturner, if a bit unbelievable.
