really liked it

This story kept me engaged and interested; it felt like a fast read, too. While I'm not sure I liked how it ended (well, who would?) I enjoyed getting to know the characters, and I very much enjoy the fact that Hector Mann "feels" like he was a real silent-comedy-film star that slipped into obscurity. The descriptions of the films that never existed make them real in the theater in my mind.
It's cool, too, to now have read the background and history of the films/story that are behind Duke Special's album, "The Silent World Of Hector Mann". I can appreciate the songs all the more now.
