Fracture is a tight pshycological thriller, with a little touch of the paranormal thrown in for good measure. Delaney wakes up in the hospital after a brush with death with an ability she shouldn't have. The aftermath of her accident strains her relationship with her parents, her friends from school, and her best friend Decker. When she meets a stranger who has the same ability as her, she struggles with what to do with her "gift". I read this in manuscript form, so I'm not sure what changes will be made before publication, hopefully the ending will be tightened up a little - it ends rather abruptly. I see potential for a popular series here, and hope to see more from Miranda. I'll definitely be purchasing and recomending copies when it comes out.
