Harry is doing what he always does and that is chasing baddies and not always knowing which is which. This time he has the Alphas, a group of werewolves that Harry has sort of adopted although it seems to me that they have adopted him.
This book centers around the Summer Knight, the White council and the outcome will determine if there is another Ice Age.
Harry always is on the edge, technically, with the White Council and now he has to prove himself again. He also has to help Susan from going over the edge and become a full werewolf and being lost in this endeavor he is failing miserably and so his life has become a freaking mess. New characters are added all the time and they are always interesting and unusual, to say the least.
The dialog, as usual is over the top but I think this book is a turning point as the story and plot seems to be more cohesive and if so, the series is on the edge of great things.
