sj I think this book had the right ideas, but the way the author was writing seemed like he was preaching the whole time. Either that, or he was just condescending...speaking down to people who watch tv, play violent video games, or use electricity...or something.


david shin Yeah I agree. While the premise I might agree with (how we are dumbing down because of mass visual media), I think he comes off as snobbish and "mightier than thou" for those who don't particularly like reading or who watch too much tv.
