One of my favorite movies is Tombstone, weird since I don't really like westerns. I just love Doc Holliday. Consumption and all, I still find him sexy. Maybe im just picturing Val Kilmer or maybe it's the killer combination of intelligence, bravery, and humor in which he is always portrayed. All this to say, this steampunk novel goes back to the wild west, specifically Tombstone, and creates a very interesting alternative story. Thomas Edison, Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, vampire bats and zombies..oh my...oh and an interesting brand of "ladies"

I gobbled up this book in two sittings. It's an old story with incredible new inventions.
