This one was a lot slower read for me than the first in the series. I did enjoy it, just wasn't as captivated as by The Name of the Wind.

I'm becoming less interested in Kvothe's backstory, and a lot more intrigued by the present-day activities going on with Bast and Chronicler in the inn. That's fascinating stuff. Hopefully the third round will end up revealing some more about the mystery of the Waystone Inn.
