This book was given to me by a friend many years ago, and I'm rereading it now. Blessing is a good poet, a good, solid writer - but there's something about it that bores me. Too personal? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just, if your life ain't interesting, your personal poetry won't be either, even if you're a great writer.
