Elements and Style: Garth Nix greatly stressed how many nothlings came at one time which made the attacks of nothlings more exciteing. he also stressed the washing inbetwean the ears that arthur wouldn't remember anything. Garth Nix used good timeing of when Arthur remembered who he was. All of this contributed well to the story.
CHARICTERIZATION:The 4th part of the will belives in punishment and war it thinks that the piper should die so the bites the piper on a flag of peace.The Piper was one of the Architect son. he was casted in a to nothing. He was able to creat a buble to live in. He was able to get the nothlings to attack Sir Thursday.
PLOT:Arthur had to protect the great maze from nothlings. The nothing in a mounten had 4 gates that would open and let nothlings come out only a few would open at a time to make sure the nothlings didn't over run the maze. Only a few times have all the gates been open at once this was one of the times. the maze it self was made of blocks that at the end of the day would change to another sqaure this is what kept the thousands of nothlings from invadeing the towns. But the nothlings have a spike that if they put it on the square 500/500 it will stop the whole maze. One more problem the nothlings are organized for the first time this isn't the normal fight Arthur comes across this is war.
