Flynn MacGregor has been dating prim and proper Beau since high school. Jesse, her high school sweetheart, is out of prison for a crime he did not commit, but everybody believes he did. He decides to come back to Twilight to start a motorcycle business, or is it to aggravate his rival, Beau. Every time Flybb sees Jesse, their gazes smolder... But she finally said she would marry Beau. Now she wrestles with what she think she should do and what her heart seems to be telling her. And perhaps Beau is not the prim and proper sheriff he pretends to be....
Set in Texas, this story is more about relationships and expectations dappled with some light suspense. Wonderful story, but the end did wrap up pretty conveniently. Beautiful cover of quaint yellow house with a porch that has a rocking chair, surrounded by beautiful flowers and a lake in the background.
