In Ireland the group of six; Glenna, Hoyt, Cain,Larkin, Miora, and Blair get ready to travel. But first they all have to get a plan that will make Lilith the vampire queen mad. They accomplish it when they go into her lair and release some of her prisoners and kill some of her prized fighters. Blair and her fellow fighters go back to the house, where she is confronted with a past love. Jeremy is used against Blair and for leaving her he pays dearly with his life, and that Blair is destroyed. Larkin is there to consul Blair when she is grieving for her lost friend even though he left her and now he is dead because of her. But Larkins is not going to let Blair blame herself. In the days when they prepare to leave to Larkin's and Miora's land of Geall he shows her how to live when there is no chance of attack from Lilith's vampires. They go on a walk outside where they see Glenna and Hoyt having a moment together since they married. After that they go to Geall, there they get introduced by Miora and Larkin to the their friends and family. The team makes plans on what to do to get ready for the war. They start training everyone to fight and defend themselves. At first the people of Gaell don't take it seriously so Blair, Larkin and Cain go out and capture vampires to show the people how to kill them. Only Miora takes it to far and gets hurt and only when Cain kills the vampire does she get pissed off that Cain did what he did. Miora went after him to give Cain a peace of her mind. Only to have Cain kiss her to show her that prolonging the kill would have gotten her killed. In the ensuing days Blair and Larkin get close, they love each other so much that they don't know what to do. One day they went out to check the traps that they set for Lilith when they see that a family was stuck and the father was injured. So Larkin took them to safety while Blair checked on the other traps. Only to fall into a trap herself, and almost killed by Lilith's goons. Until Larkin arrives and kills the rest of the Vampires. Larkin then takes Blair home and watches over her as she recovers. When Blair recovers she asks Larkin if they could walk outside and that is when he proposes to her and she accepts. After that they started training up again if the people of Gaell are going to have a fighting chance.
