Second time reading it
Again, just as amazing as the first time (although the truth is, I don't remember anything that happened...)
I'm pretty sure House of Power is the first book I've read from Patrick Carmen. I might go for the Land of Elyon books later, but we'll see about that.
Let's see, about House of Power...
Every single character Carmen had written were wonderful. Each were unique and completely themselves. The character development was better than the majority of the books I've read.
The plot, was just beyond words. Which is a lie, because I did come up with words to describe it. "Beyond words" sounds good enough to me. Anyways, I really liked the idea of another world orbiting the Dark Planet (Earth), and nobody on Atherton even knew they were originally from another place. It's a little sad how everything seemed so old-fashioned in the book, but it's truthfully the year 2105.
