I loved this book, it was a little long and very detailed but in the end so worth it. Salinger is my favorite author and I've loved the Glass family and Holden since 9th grade, the best thing about Salinger is he grows with you- so I re-read the books every few years and they mean different things every time. Kenneth Salwenski obviously has a love for Salinger and his book is exhaustive and endearing.

I found myself in tears at the end even though I now Salinger dies and that's where we would end it was still devastating and felt like losing my friend all over again.

I recommend this book to anyone who has any interest in Salinger and his life, or who wants to better understand his work.
