Look at the cover for this book and you'll get the gist of it. Girl is half vamp. Girl kills vamps. Girl meets good vamp. Girl falls in love with good vamp. They kick ass together. I'm not spoiler-tagging that because if you've ready any type of urban fantasy, it'll be familiar to you. Halfway to the Grave is full of all sorts of urban fantasy tropes, but I'm not saying that as a bad thing. The language is a quick read, there are some chuckle-inducing phrases. The good vamp is all sorts of hot.

Halfway to the Grave was exactly what I was in the mood for after reading a couple of substance-heavy books.
