Not so much an exploration of lesbianism in comics as it is what a fourteen-year-old boy thinks lesbianism might be. Not for grown-ups, but your fourteen-year-old nephew will love it.

J.M. I dig most of your reviews, Jason, but on this one I respectfully differ. I didn't feel like the lesbianism was treated adolescently in the least. I think Rucka and Williams were respectful and actually downplayed the sexuality, maintaining it in the background without making it what the main character was all about. Not sure where you got the "not for grown-ups" impression. Most comics are trite these days, but this one feels like the creators really put their hearts into it.
