There was a LOT of expository information in the first part of the book. To be honest, I skimmed most of it. It wasn't until Part 2 that I really became invested in the book. The plot twists were appropriate. The ending was satisfactory. What was revealed about Barrons was just enough -- there was still a bit of mystery to mull over by the end. I didn't like how things with Dani were left hanging. In the author bio, it mentions she's going to write more books in the Fever universe. I'm guessing it's going to be Dani-centric? I really wish she had wrapped things up with Dani and closed up the universe -- these five books were elegant in their length and with what the encompassed -- nothing needed to be added, and nothing needed to be taken away. I wish she would leave it at that, and start up something completely new
