For fun, Jaine and her three friends at work wrote up a list of qualities for the perfect man. The list went public by accident and gained them a lot of notoriety, especially because some of the list items had to do with looks, size and stamina. Then someone starts killing them off and Jaine has to rely on her cop neighbor (who is also her new boyfriend) to keep her alive.

Not Howard's best in any way. Sam, the cop, wasn't a great character, although I did half-enjoy their initial dislike of one another. Jaine was also kind of boring. The situation didn't appeal to me; if a list of mine like that went live, I'd be mortified, but the ladies were kind of amused once they got over the annoyance, even going on a talk show. I couldn't relate to that. I didn't exactly skim the book, but I read it in kind of a rush, and I hurried through the love scenes. They just didn't hold my attention.
