Thank You, Mr. Falker is quite possibly one of my favorite Patricia Polacco books. I love how realistic the problem and solution in the story is. Many struggling readers in a classroom, no matter how old they are, can understand the anguish, the embarrassment, and the hardships Trisha went through. Students that do not struggle with reading empathize with Trisha and understand a little more about how their counterparts in a classroom feel. I consider this a feel-good read all around. (ps- I have never gotten through it without crying, beware...)
