This book, The Guardian written by Nicholas Sparks, is a great romantic comedy. There are moments where my heart would melt over the romantic things, and there were times I was angry at certain characters. The book kept me reading on until I was finished, and it left me satisfied but yet, still wanting more. The entire book I was interested and wanting to read on to find out what would happen. Nicholas Sparks’ style of writing is not easy but not hard to understand. He writes about true love, but is not unrealistic about it. He takes what he has experienced in his own life and tries to develop a story about it. The Guardian was about love and the undeniable bond love has between two people. It also shows how a person will not stop in love, and will do whatever they have to in order to get the person they love. The book also shows how quiet love can also work in their favor. Mike was quiet about his love for Julie, but in the end he got what he wanted but Richard was left with nothing. It is a great read, and is easy on the mind. It’s a calm book that leaves you wanting more, and causes for you to fall in love with Nicholas Sparks.
