Piercing the Darkness (Darkness, #2)
by Frank Peretti
by Frank Peretti
Frank E. Peretti’s fast-paced suspense has a 1989 copyright date, and yes, in some places it definitely shows its age, but overall, the story is even more applicable today. It’s a tale of Good verses Evil set on all playing fields–on earth, and in the spirit realm. The actions of humans spur or bind the actions of angels, both the Heavenly hosts and Satan’s legions. Peretti slips between the realms frequently, and not without the jolt of sudden shifts, but after the reader gets accustomed to his style, it’s impossible to put the book down.
