Great book for a boring commute, lounging on the beach, lying on the couch recovering from the flu, or just needing some relaxing brain candy. I understand some of the reviewers who anticipated otherwise and could imagine what this sort of plot could be like in the hands of a master Science Fiction/Fantasy author, but I had no illusions that this would be anything but shallow dime-store romance/thriller fiction and I loved it! Zipped through it in a couple of hours, had a great time, and now I have a new author to turn to when looking for some relaxing mental bubble gum. Ain't nothin' wrong with that!
