Entertaining, charming book peppered with literary examples from Austen's books about the do's and don'ts of the 19th century social whirl. Light, fun, and informative.

Erica Scott Hope you have been watching the Austen festival on PBS the last few Sunday nights. Tonight starts the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice and it is wonderful!

Amy I wish I'd known about it! Thanks for the tip, Erica. What's your favorite Austen novel?

Erica Scott It's a toss up between Pride and Prejudice and Emma. She is such a great writer; what a shame she dies at 41. If you didn't catch it this week, watch part II next Sunday.
