I really enjoyed this book. If you're a Koontz fan you'll like it. It revisits some common Koontz themes. Much of the book takes place in the Carnival world and the imagery is rich and well described. The characters are colorful as you might imagine. The plot is as inventive as most koontz books and is well paced.

I think it's funny the number of people who really hated this book. I don't quite get it. If you know the author, you know what to expect and I think the writing in this one is better than most.
