Audiobook: It's easy to skim over tedious detail and dialogue when you're reading a physical book, not so easy when you have to listen to it. I gave up about a third of the way through this one. Too much tedious detail and not enough action. Too slow and too light for my tastes.

PK Reeves you see that is my fear of audiobooks! What if the narrator can't compel me to listen.. what if I hate her/his voice..what...if...

Jenny Q This didn't have anything to do with the narrator--it was the writing. Only once has a narrator put me off so badly that I stopped listening, and it didn't take long to realize I wasn't going to be able to listen to him. But usually as long as the story holds my interest, I'm good to go!
