I've picked this up while writing about interpretation of fantasy texts. This is very much written for christian parents that are apprehensive about letting their kids read fantasy books. Although the first chapters on "Christian fantasy" (Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, of course) came across as well researched, especially the parts on the "Harry Potter" were lacking scientific methodology.

He is not proving anything. In fact he doesn't brirng up anything that could counter his thesis and than disproves it, but only cites things that are in his favours - even if the sources can't always be called reliable.
