I found this book rather difficult to read, only because the relationship between him and his wife is so real. Writing about spiritual journeys can't be easy, but this was done very beautifully. And I absolutely understand why he was plagued by fear and self doubt all the way writng this book. I can see people who would ridicule him and his beliefs, but for me, this book is deeply personal and very moving. It reminds me that God is God, and oftentimes, it is humans who cannot forgive, and humans who persecute. God doesn't care if you drink, smoke, what you eat, if you are lost sheep or valkyries on Harveys. God just is.
