Deep Freeze (Northwest, #1)
by Lisa Jackson
by Lisa Jackson
What I love about Lisa Jackson is that despite the predictability of her characters and their actions, she is a master at creating the sort of tense atmosphere and creepy settings necessary to make a thriller worth reading. When I want to be creeped out, she's going to deliver - and Deep Freeze is no exception. The serial killer/celebrity stalker plot isn't original in form, but Jackson manages to execute it in a way that makes for enjoyable reading and a page-turner. I actually managed to guess the right killer only a few pages before the big reveal - not bad. If you enjoy a side of creepy with your fluff, this will be a fun read.
