This book was basically about a few events that happened between books 4 and 5 of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series. It had stories, pictures, maps, diagrams, etc. I loved it because since I have read all of the books, I could really see how it foreshadowed the Last Olympian. The last of the stories was the best, because it had Thalia and Nico fighting alongside of Percy.
Thalia is one of my favorite characters because of her bravery, not to mention her father's Zeus. I really like Nico as well because he is smart and cool because he's the son of Hades. Percy is my all-time favorite!
The best thing about that book is that it really gave you a visual of Camp Half-Blood, and what it was like when Percy did things outside of the camp. Obviously this wasn't the most amazing pieces of work by Rick Riordan, but it helped me understand things better in the books, and really foreshadowed on the Last Olympian as well as the Lost Hero which is the add-on series to the Percy Jackson Series.
