Maia's review
Dragon Rider
by Cornelia Funke
Truth be told i can sympathize, but i have yet to see my name spelt in the Persian (not Arabic) manner with two letters removed as my mother spelt it on my birth certificate. But coming back to the book, it is quite mediocre compared to her other books. WHy did you not like Inkheart? Reply at the DPS.

This book was fairly good, with a slow-moving but interesting plot.
If I had to be intellectual about this book, I would say that the four stars I gave it symbolize my vanity and self-centerdness, because a rare occurence took place in this book: my name appeared, spelled correctly! Those with unusual names (knock, knock, Ortal and Scherezade [or King Richard Hades Khan the Ist, which is quite a mouthful!]...) can sympathize.
