This book reminds me of crack fic. And yet, among the "hee hee phonetic Scottish accent" hilarity, I still had to question why they let the rapist stay in the castle until he tried something on the heroine, even though everybody knows he assaulted two (or more) of the staff. That removed a lot of my squee.
