I absolutely adored this book! The story of these girlfriends is a story that almost any woman can relate to. It's about the close bonds of "sisterhood" but also about the secrets that we keep from even our closest friends. It takes you through a wide range of emotions, from happy to sad, from excited to angry, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you want to grab the characters and say "What the hell are you doing?". Alisa Valdez-Rodriguez did such an amazing job writing this book by creating so many main characters. She made a character that almost any woman can see herself in. All of us have been in at least on of the situations that comes up in this book. I personally saw a little bit of myself in every one of these girls. This book is about self-discovery as well as learning to depend on your friends when you can't do it on your own.
