I don't think this was a bad book, I just know it wasn't for me. I'm not necessarily into Colonial books, I don't know a great deal on Quakers due to (a stupid-reasoned) happy ignorance, and I only read it because I knew people who were really passionate about it. I can see how a really smart young girl might love this book, but being the 20 year old dude that I am, it didn't really hold up for me. I might revisit it later to be fair, but not anytime this year.

My favorite part about this book was the (newly revised, really dark blue) cover. I'd happily put a poster of it up in my room.
