Although I liked the book, I was very upset that Mr. Bruchac put a take-off or similar story in his book of the true story of Priscilla, the Hollyhock Girl, who was freed from the Trail of Tears by Brazilla Silkwood and who stayed in Illinois the rest of her life and is buried here. He put her as a character in Missouri who went back to slave owners.
