I am really not sure what I wanted to rate this book. I really liked it, but it didn't blow me away. I think my rating is more towards a 4 but you know what I always say about these star ratings...esp on here. Anyway...

I am not going to say awhole lot on this book since it is a sequeal...but I did like how it continued off where the first one ended. That worked good and this one also had alot going on. Action, some suspense. The history of midnighters is revealed but there are questions still left unanswered. I am still confused about the whole purpose of the these creatures that come at the midnight hour. What they want exactly...

I am curious to know what the third book is going to reveal to us. Hopefully I am left with all my questions answered.

This was naswered in book one. They always been there like other animals on the earth. They were on top of the food chain and when humans got the better of them they ran for there lives by taking the last hour and compressing it into one moment. People born in that exact moment can slip in. So the purpose of the creatures fit for me, what the purpose of the midnighters however has not really been answered that I can.

Now what I like to know is what the support around ice cream socials was for. They job was to what kill all the creatures?

I do agree on this one being better then the first one. (I didn't like the first one much)
