This is the best fictional story that I've read in a very long time and definitely the best book of 2011 so far.
Charity feels that God is calling her to be a missionary to India after graduation from college.
She spends her summer at home, helping her parents, sisters and brothers.
She can't wait for September but through unforeseen circumstances, her plans are turned upside down.
Did God really truly want her to go to India after all? Did she read His will wrong? Does she have to give up her dream?
Can she accept and have true Joy in His will, no matter what?

I could definitely identify with Charity, her dreams, her hopes, her struggles and pain. And I could definitely identify with some of her home life! :)

Charity and her family are so sweet and I love the little artistic touches that she's added through-out the book!

Elisabeth Allen is an amazing writer and her talent shines through in not only this 1st book but also the 2nd and 3rd books of the Charity Diaries series.

I wholeheartedly recommend reading all three books!
This is lovely Christian fiction.
