HG Wells was a very inventive man with a large imagination for the sci-fi realm of literature. Wasn't he grouped in as one of the founding fathers of Science Fiction?

Well, this book started off really slow, and finally started to pick up around chapter 13. The 2nd half of the book is much better than the 1st half, so if you can sit through the first 18 chapters, you'll be glad you did when you shut the book after the last page.
