liked it

This book is about a Norwegian journalist's interactions with various Serbians over a few years. Each chapter is about a different person, and she has done a nice job of varying the types of people she interviews. Seierstad also wrote The Bookseller of Kabul and A Hundred and One Days (about Iraq around the time of American troops' arrival in Baghdad and the days following). I am enjoying this nonfiction work so far, but Bookseller is still my favorite of her work.
